I recently did the unthinkable! Well, at least what I thought was unthinkable… I made the switch from a PC to a Mac! Yes, I know… many of you may think I am a traitor — but for those of you who own a Mac, you’re probably proud that another person has happily converted. I have to say that while making the switch was difficult, it’s absolutely one of the best decisions I have made. In my opinion, the changes are so significant (in a good way); it’s like comparing a Honda to a BMW. And, while there are also definite cost variances like a Honda to a BMW, it wasn’t as bad as one might think. Macmall.com has great prices on these machines! I found the biggest difference of all to be that the quality of the machine is substantially better; all you have to do is hold one to understand the significance of this statement.
Apple has definitely figured out how software is supposed to work. Ah, but wait… that’s giving too much credit to Microsoft! Mac software actually does work, which is something Bill Gates and his team are still trying to figure out.
My first week has been an amazing experience, but I’m curious to see who else has one and whether I’m in for some surprises the more I use it. What’s your experience?
